Doctor’s words
Prof. Dr. med. P. Niehans was not only a famous surgeon but also a pioneer from Switzerland. His contribution in the field of Molecular Cell Therapy began, in 1931, with his display of the enhancing regenerative property to the body, through the use of subcutaneous injections of juvenile tissue from lamb, thus kick-starting the concept of cell therapy and opened up a new era for said study.
The core concept of cell therapy holds that typically classified or damaged cells or tissues can actually be regenerated through biotech stimulus. This means that through the appropriate application, results such as rejuvenation can be achieved. Furthermore, such technology can also be used to encourage the healing process, thus strengthening one’s immune system and enabling treatments for different chronic and metabolic disorders.
Nowadays, scientific advancement has allowed researchers to develop methods in extracting needed ingredients through extractions from juvenile organs of organisms such as lamb, pork, or veal. The more advanced equipment also allows one to obtain the necessary elements in a molecular form, allowing it to go through the process to form a low molecular weight component, hence making it useable and preservable. To say that Prof. Dr. med. P. Niehans played a significant and crucial role in the development of cell Therapy is indisputable.
